We perceive the world that surrounds us through our senses, images, sounds, tastes and sensations, they are immediately transformed by our brain into symbols that if we combine them in an appropriate way we give shape to new concepts.
In the world of character design we have 3 basic geometric shapes that will become our best friends when shaping our creations, these shapes are circles, triangles and squares, each one of them is equipped with a series of characteristics that convey clear ideas to our subconscious to give personality to our characters.
The circles are used to represent charismatic, harmless, endearing, playful characters.
The squares convey feelings of reliable, traditional, structured characters.
Triangles are used to convey cunning, dynamic, aggressive characters
